Additional Notes:
Periwinkle is a common one that represents everlasting love and everlasting life after death. This flower commonly adorns Ukrainian cemeteries where it is planted as a ground cover. Periwinkle’s ability to spread and occupy the whole territory of the graveyard soon after being planted annoys some people, although our ancestors chose this flower as a symbol of everlasting love and life because of this ability and the fact that it trails on the ground. In folk witchcraft, Graveyard Periwinkle (or Periwinkle harvested from a Graveyard) is used to appease the Walking Dead.
