The 3 Virtues

The concepts of Healing, Harmony, and Balance embody the three distinct focuses of the Earth, Humanity, and the Self which are fundamental to the concept of Reciprocity and the overall NeoWiccan ethical system.

Exemplified by the ‘Law of the Harvest’, what you put out into the world returns to you- both mundanely and spiritually. If you treat those around you with courtesy, the same will (and should) be extended. And the more empathy and sympathy you have for others and the things surrounding you, the better you will treat them; if you love and respect the world, you will do your best not to abuse it.

Wicca and NeoWicca are ongoing celebrations of life; dialogues with nature; practices which should enrich both the practitioner and the Earth itself through this natural dialogue. Through reciprocity the Earth heals us in kind; we each balance the energies that are askew within each other, harmonizing existence. And if nature and all that it encompasses is your kin, then it makes much more sense to guard it than it does to harm it.
