Formulas for Sacred Space

Hallowing Incense

1 tbsp ground Frankincense resin, 1 tsp Sage leaf, 1 tsp Rosemary, 1 tsp Vervain, 1 tsp Mugwort; Grind together in a mortar and pestle. Burn on a charcoal disk to be used in a hallowing ritual, to imbue a new ritual tool with magical power. Can also be used in other blessings.

Circle Incense

Frankincense, Myrrh, Benzoin, Cinnamon, Rose petals, Vervain, Rosemary, Sandalwood, and Bay laurel; Mix in equal parts on the waxing Moon. Use for general magical rites, rites of worship, or when no other incense is called for or available.

Temple Oil

Fill a dram vial with the following oils and shake well before using: 1 part Parvati Sandalwood oil, 1 part Rose oil, 1 part Lotus Blossom oil, and 4 drops Lavender oil.

Frankincense, Cinnamon, Myrrh; Burn to cleanse the Altar.

Rosemary, Bay Leaf, Basil, Fir (or Pine or Spruce or Juniper or another Conifer), Star Anise, and Fennel Seed- infused in Spring Water; use to wash Altars and Shrines during general maintenance.
