Dove's Blood Ink

Grind together 2 parts Dragon’s Blood Resin and 1 part Gum Arabic and steep in 12 parts alcohol until fully dissolved. Grind again as a wet stone against glass until fine. Add 2 drops Cinnamon Oil, 2 drops Rose Oil, and 2 drops Basil Oil, filter, and bottle for use.

Butterfly Blood Ink

Grind together 1 part Dragon’s Blood Resin, 1 part Copal Resin, and 1 part Gum Arabic, and steep in 12 parts alcohol with 4 Saffron Threads until the Resins are fully dissolved. Grind again as a wet stone against glass until fine. Add 2 drops Rose Oil, and 2 drops Orange Oil, filter, and bottle for use.

Pinecone Ink

Bring 1 cup Pine Cone Scales, 2 cups distilled Water, and 2 teaspoons Soda Ash (or Washing Soda) to a boil in a pot. Reduce to simmer for 2 hours, or until condensed to 1/4 cup of dark liquid. When bottling, add 6 drops of Clove or Wintergreen Essential Oil and shake well before each use.
