Equal parts of each of Bay, Avens, Mugwort, Yarrow, Rosemary, St. John’s Wort, Angelica, Basil, Juniper Berries. Powder and mix in the mortar and pestle.

Equal parts of each of Hyssop, Lavender, Rosemary, Vervain, and Juniper Berries. Powder and mix in the mortar and pestle.

Personal Blend

Bath Sachet

Equal parts of Vervain, Mint, Basil, Thyme, Fennel, Lavender, Rosemary, Hyssop, and Valerian; mix together in advance and tie up half a handful of the mixture each in four-inch square pieces of cheesecloth. Keep them in an air-tight jar until needed.

Bath Oil

1 part Hyssop, 1.5 parts Lavender, 1.5 parts Valerian, and 1.5 parts Verbena compounded to 20 parts of Sweet Almond Oil. About a dessertspoonful or tablespoonful should be enough in the bath; This is pleasant before any ritual, and should definitely be used before any serious ritual.

Wash

Equal parts each Juniper Berries, Rosemary, Sage, and Pine Needles steeped in 1 part Rose Water and 1 part pure Spring Water. Add 1 pinch of Sea Salt.

Waters of the Hedge

To bathe the skin before confrontation with infectious forces, or for surrounding any hallowed plot with its warding: Gather fresh leaves of the Hollen Genius in any quantity and cute finely. Let half of these be boiled, the water reduced in volume by half, then removed from the fire. Let the remaining leaves steep [within it] for several hours, then filter, reserving the liquid for use when cool.
