Prayer for Justice

Blessed are you, Adonai, Merciful King, who has commanded us not to bear grudges or take vengeance, but simply to love each of your creations as ourselves. You who have created us with empathy, compassion, and righteous anger for the stranger and their mistreatment, and calls us to holiness through your commandment to pursue Justice … May we embolden them as we embolden ourselves; guard and protect them as we would guard and protect ourselves; and may we find justice where justice is needed.
