Aligning The Three Souls

Aligning the 3 souls is a great practice prior to ritual and magic work; to start, get comfortable- however that is for you; Earthing is good prior to starting. Say "May the 3 souls be aligned within me" and begin the process of four cycle-breathing (4 in, 4 out).

Down / Earth; the wellspring of our power as material, terrestrial beings.

During 1 cycle, draw energy from the earth into the Black Soul.

Abdomen / Black Soul; our material identity; can leave the body through spirit flight, astral projection, etc.

Second cycle, draw energy from the Black Soul into the Red Soul.

Heart / Red Soul; the ancestral self which ties us to the family and the tradition, our roots, and what we keep coming back to; also represents the spiritual bloodline, and witchcraft.

Third cycle, draw energy from red into White Soul.

Head / White Soul; the "higher self" or the "indwelling Divine Spark"; our center of thought, reason, and intuition, which is ultimately difficult to know (but this is what meditation, and ritual, and the experience of the mysteries, etc, is for).

Fourth cycle, open yourself and your energy to the universe, and the energy and world around you.
