Charge of the God

Listen to the words of the Old One who is ever young: I am he who opens the doors of life and death, the gates of the dawn and the gates of night. My music is in the air of Green Woods and upon the summer Hills. My voice is in the wind of midnight, and beneath the stars it speaks words of magic in aincient tongues forgotten and unknown.

Even though I show the face of a skull, there would be no manifestatin of life without me. Life must ever spiral upwards. It cannot stand still. We cannot know light without darkness, nor darkness without light. So fear me not, in whatever aspect you see me; the strength and power of maleness, or the bringer of peace in death. For I am the nourishing power of life, and the bearer of light- but without love I can create nothing that endures. Therefore in the Great Sacred Marriage we are both One.

I am the presences which is felt in the darkness of sacred caves, and by the standing stone upon the heath. I inspide paniced fear and passionate desire. So worship my wildness, know me and rejoice in me. For I bring you power and liberation, and freedom of spirit which is true and eternal, and which none can deny to you forever.

Revealed now are the words of the Great God: I am he who resides in the deepest woods beneath the cloak of blackest night. I make my home within the Earth, and the sacredness of nature. I am he who abides in the skies, bringer of thunder and sender of lightning. I give the blessings of rain to the parched and hungry land. I command the winds that turn the seasons. It is my seed which is life incarnate- and I am he who brings forth life from the soil. I stand at the threshold of death and life: Guardian of the mysteries of the end, and the wonder of many beginnings.

I am he He who is magic: Source of eternal energy, and catalyst of change for all who would walk in the Ways. My whispers are those of tomorrows revealed and knowledge to be granted. I am the power to see and do all things; a cosmic God, one with all aspects of the universe.

Worship me with the Lady. Honor me and I shall abide forever within you. For I am love eternal, and I am a part of all things.
