Created using a combination of instructions from Gemma Gary's 'Traditional Witchcraft: A Cornish Book of Ways', as well as some products and prose from Daniel Schulke's 'Viridarium Umbris: In The Pleasure Garden of Shadow'. The rest is personal creation and extrapolation. Divider

Prepare your fumigation incense at least a day in advance in order to allow to dry completely; add together, as per personal preference, the following ingredients, and burn over charcoal to use:

  • Base: Corn Meal, Wheat Flour, Allspice Berries, Nutmeg Powder, Nutmeg Essential Oil, Patchouli Essential Oil
  • Land Offerings: Whole Corn, Tobacco, Honey, Kosher Wine

Begin by cutting 1 [3 inch] by [3 inch] piece of parchment that is blank of both front and back sides, and 2 pieces of plain white Linen, both [1 and 1/2 inch] by [1 and 1/2 inch] in size. You will also need Green Embroidery thread, a White Candle, and 2 pens (1 in Grey or Black ink, and 1 in Green ink).

After setting up the working space by lighting the Candle, lighting the Incence Charcoal, and putting some Incense on to burn, begin by fumigating all of the materials for a few seconds.

Draw the Forager's Seal on one side of the parchment in Green ink, and the Cross Seal of the Keys on the other side of the parchment in Grey or Black ink.

Fumigate after drawing the Forager's Seal, and again after drawing the Cross Seal of the Keys. Then, with the Cross Seal of the Keys on the back, fold all 4 corners of the parchment into the center of the Forager's Seal. Fold the parchment in half lengthwise, and then in half again width wise. The parchment should now be roughly 1 inch in size. Fumigate the folded package again.

Fumigate both pieces of Linen front and back, and sew them togehter on 3 sides (leaving an opening on 1 side to stuff the packet) with green thread. Turn the packet inside out so that the seam allowance is on the inside. Stuff the packet with the parchment, a Quarter (or equivalent coin), and a bit of Apple Blossom. Fold in the raw edges of the linen packet, and sew the final edge to enclose it.

Fumigate the complete packet while reciting the prayer 3 times. Then pass the completed packet through the candle flame 9 times.

A coin I give the land, to draw forth a verdant bounty to my own hand; Praise be the sickle come forth with motion swift. Blessed be the sheaf of the harvest. Amein.

After this, the charm is complete.
