4 Truths of Growth As A Practitioner

Whether you want to hear it or not, it’s the truth: You will never get anywhere legitimate in your practice and religion by reblogging the same 5 reworded mantras, "affirmations", and “manifestations” over and over again, and posting about "intent"; all of the "affirmations", "intent", and “manifestation” in the world will never be any kind of a substitute for true and legitimate work.

Whether you want to hear it or not, it’s the truth: You will never get anywhere legitimate in your practice and religion by consuming and resharing the same hyper-regurgitated 101 material on Tumblr (or Twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram, Pinterest, or any other Social Media Site that's out there), which boils down to the exact same 5 magical and astrological correspondence lists, Herbal sheets, or poor bastardizations of Chakras- or the same 5 topics with minimal deviation or originality- and so on.

Whether you want to hear it or not, it’s the truth: You will never get anywhere legitimate in your practice and religion by never stepping out of the bubble, looking somewhere else, and doing something different- something which is difficult, and which actively challenges you, and challenges all of your beliefs; you need to challenge yourself, but you also need other people who will make you think sideways, will challenge your practice and beliefs, and will push you outside of your comfort zone and the boxes you place yourself in.

Whether you want to hear it or not, it’s the truth: You will never get anywhere legitimate in your practice and religion by refusing to listen to your Elders and those with more experience than you whenever they correct you --- but you will especially never get anywhere legitimate by saying the same things we’ve already been saying for decades as if it’s some shiny new opinion that no one’s ever thought of before (when the reality is, it’s the standard belief; you'd've known it if you’d've just listened).
