Core Questions of Obligation

Before acting, ask:

1. Does this destroy or waste?
2. Does this endanger life?
3. Does this cause unnecessary suffering?
4. Does this protect the dwelling of the Shekhinah?

These are applied to every action, mundane or magical. If an action fails these questions, no spiritual framing redeems it.
