My Sacred Colors

Flowing from the base associations previously explained, the Hexagram is personally used for symbolism and colorology, in place of the traditional Pentagram or Pentacle, for workings along this particular Rose and Thorn path of my own creation. This itself is an action which is incongruent with the original Rose and Thorn path as created by Raven Grimassi, as well as greater Wiccan and NeoWiccan ritual in general.

Red is Life and Solar: Summa vitae, clearly- therefore representing the Aboveground. Thus, it correlates naturally to Fire and Air as the elements which rule the Above.

Black therefore comes to obviously symbolize the Lunar, Death, and the Underground. Thus, as Summa Mortis, it correlates with Earth and Water as the elements which naturally rule the Below.

White, then naturally represents Divinity and Humanity both; the Spark; the Elemental Spirit.

The Hexagram is thus divided in two, with the upward facing triangle in Red, and the downward facing triangle in black- always cast upon a white background. In this, all elements and directions, as well as both the Divine and the Self, are represented in their totality much more appropriately.
